Russia has temporarily banned its airlines from flying to Georgia from July. The move came following violent clashes in Georgia after a Russian lawmaker addressed parliament in Tbilisi.
President Vladimir Putin signed a decree banning Russian airlines from undertaking flights from the territory of the
Russian Federation to the territory of Georgia from July 8, 2019. The decree was published on the Kremlin website.
In Tbilisi, protests continued for the second day yesterday for snap parliamentary polls and the ruling party's oligarch leader to cede power.
