Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have condemned the attacks on the US Embassy at Baghdad in Iraq.
Thousands of Iran-backed militiamen and their supporters broke into the American Embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday after the US carried out airstrikes against the Kataib Hezbollah armed group.
Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks as a violation of international
norms and conventions.
In a statement, Bahrain's Foreign Ministry stressed "the need for all parties in Iraq to adhere to responsibility and restraint.
It also affirmed the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain that supports the efforts of the Iraqi government to establish security and stability and strengthen the rule of law in the country.
