Shooting at Maryland high school in US, facility on lockdown

A school shooting has taken place at Great Mills High School in Maryland. It has since been contained, according to authorities cited by local media.

There was no official confirmation of

victims, but NBC Washington reported several injuries.

Great Mills High School is located about 60 miles southeast of Washington DC in St.Mary's county, and is home to some 1,600 students.
