Sirisena orders thorough probe into killing of an Indian fisherman

Vice President Hamid Ansari today said, the Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has ordered a thorough probe into the killing of an Indian fisherman allegedly by the Sri Lankan Navy. 

Mr Ansari had a bilateral meeting with Mr Sirisena in the



Indonesian capital, Jakarta, on the sidelines of the Summit of Indian Ocean Rim Association. Mr. Ansari, informed media persons that the Sri Lankan President had spoken to the Chief of Navy and has ordered full investigation into the matter.
