Southwest airlines plane hit by bullet in Dallas airport

A Southwest Airlines plane was struck by a bullet while preparing for takeoff at Dallas Love Field Airport on Friday evening. According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call shortly before 10 pm.

Southwest Airlines spokesperson confirmed that Flight 2494, bound for Indianapolis, was taxiing when a bullet hit the right side of the aircraft just below the flight deck. The plane safely returned to the terminal, and passengers were deplaned without injury.
