In the United States, at least one person was killed and seven others injured when a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas yesterday. According to police, the electric vehicle pulled up to the hotel’s glass entrance before a large explosion occurred. The deceased individual was inside the Cybertruck, while the injured sustained minor wounds. Law enforcement is investigating the incident as a potential act of
terrorism.
Police discovered gasoline canisters, camp fuel canisters, and large firework mortars in the back of the vehicle. The explosion took place approximately 15 seconds after the vehicle arrived at the hotel.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that the blast was caused by fireworks or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and emphasised that the incident was unrelated to the vehicle’s design or functionality.
