A bride and her father have set the bar for ultimate daddy/daughter wedding dance, as this video proves.
Mikayla Ellison Phillips and her dad Nathan Ellison wowed guests when they suddenly broke out of their slow dance, donned sunglasses and started busting some serious moves to a medley of hits.
Beginning with Bob Carlisle's "Butterfly Kisses" - a soppy ode to daughters everywhere - the pair move slowly around the dancefloor seemingly sharing a tender family moment.
But suddenly the record scratches, and MC Hammer's U Can't Touch This begins playing as the couple strike a pose.
Putting on sunglasses, Nathan whips off



his jacket before he and his little girl perform a slick and energetic dance routine to a number of floor fillers.
Among the medley are Sugarhill Gang's Apache, Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO, Shake Your Groove Thing by Peaches and Herb and Tom Jones' It's Not Unusual.
Finally, they finish on NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye to a rapturous round of applause from amazed guests.
Mikayla, 25, later told ABC News that the dance routine was her dad's idea.
"I’m the oldest and the only girl so that was my dad’s only chance to do something like this,” she said.
“He for years has talked about doing that and he finally convinced me.”
