Pope Francis is on his first visit ever to the Middle East, and here are the top pictures of the historic occasion. Since arriving earlier this week, he has vitied the Presidential Palace to meet HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, while also meeting HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice
President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Today, the Pope made his way to Zayed Sports City in a specially modified Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. As part of the Year of Tolerance, he conducted a public mass for approximately 140,000 people. He then met with leaders of other faiths in the capital before heading to the Founder's Memorial, which is dedicated to founding President Sheikh Zayed. The pontiff's visit marks a historic day in the UAE.
