US President Donald Trump has described Pulwama attack as horrible and offered full support to India to combat terrorism, asking Islamabad to punish those responsible for the heinous act.
Talking to reporters at Oval Office in White House, Mr Trump said, it would be wonderful if the two South Asia neighbours get along.
At a separate news conference, the State Department said
the US has been in close communication with the Indian government to express not only its condolences but its strong support.
State Department Deputy Spokesperson Robert Palladino told reporters at a news conference that the US is committed to working with the Indian government to combat terrorism in all of its forms.
