DONALD Trump is set to sweep to victory in Michigan – the state that will decide the US Presidential election, Express.co.uk can exclusively reveal.
Hillary Clinton needs to win Michigan in order to win the election because Trump has just won Florida.
But a source who has seen the exit polls in key parts of Michigan told Express.co.uk that Trump has stormed to victory, winning 70 per cent of the vote in Michigan's Upper Penninsula.
The Republican, who won Ohio a few moments ago, has also won in North Michigan and Macomb County, the latter by 15 per cent.
This
represents a massive turnaround for Michigan, which has not voted republican since 1988.
Even in areas popular with Clinton, such as Oakland, she has won with a much reduced margin – understood to be just 8 per cent.
A Republican source in Michigan said: "This is massive. We've seen a huge number of jobs reduced in the manufacturing sector and Clinton has not been able to inspire voters to think she will get them back.
"Trump speaks their language.
"It's close but right now it looks like Michigan will belong to Trump. If he wins here, he is President."
