United States president Donald Trump promised to repeal and replace 'ObamaCare' after the Republican tax cut bill is signed into law.
Claiming that the healthcare is a 'disaster, Trump took to Twitter and said: “ObamaCare premiums are going up, up, up, just as I have been predicting for two years. ObamaCare is OWNED by the Democrats, and it is a disaster,”
He further added that 'even though the Democrats were not for the repeal and replacement of
ObamaCare, he planned to do so right after tax cuts.'
Trump's yet another attempt to repeal ObamaCare comes in the backdrop of an unexpected surge in the enrollment in the health-care law.
Almost 2.3 million people signed up for coverage through ObamaCare exchanges in the initial 18 days of the enrollment period — increasing the number of enrollments which took place in the same period under Obama's presidency, reports said.
