Turkish Foreign Ministry on Friday slammed Israel's decision to build over 2,000 additional houses in the disputed West Bank territory.
In a statement, the ministry said, Turkey strongly condemns the approval by Israel to build additional housing units on the site which is under Israeli occupation.
On Wednesday, the Israeli Defense
Ministry approved plans to build housing units in the West Bank, with most of them set to be constructed east of the West Bank security fence.
The European Union has also slammed the plans as illegal under international law and something that undermines the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
