British police named two of the three men who left a trail of bloodshed with a van and knife attack in central London and appealed for the public’s help on Monday to learn more about their movements in the days leading up to the deadly rampage that killed seven people dead and dozens wounded.
Khuram Shazad Butt was a 27-year-old
Pakistani-born Briton known to authorities, according to a statement issued by London Police. Rachid Redouane, who had claimed to be Moroccan and Libyan, variously given his age as 30 or 25 and also used Elkhdar as a surname, was unknown until the night the two were shot dead along with a third attacker who has not been identified, police said.
