Two people missing after two cargo ships collide in the Baltic Sea

Two cargo ships collided in the Baltic Sea off the Swedish coast, causing one to overturn. The overturned ship, the Karin Hoej, is registered in Denmark and the other vessel is the UK-flagged Scot Carrier.

The Swedish Maritime

Administration (SMA) said that two people were missing following the incident in the wee hour yesterday. A major rescue operation is underway. The cause of the collision is not yet clear.
