In Nigeria, a United States convoy was attacked yesterday killing four people, including two personnel from the US consulate and two police officers. Three others were kidnapped. According to US officials, the attack took place in the southeastern Anambra state. The attackers murdered two police operatives and two staff members of the
US consulate and set their bodies and their vehicles ablaze.
The US National Security Council, John Kirby said, no US citizens were involved and therefore there were no US citizens were hurt. He said they were aware of some casualties and that some were killed also.
