Two persons dead, five injured in Virginia mass shooting during high school graduation

In the United States, two persons lost their lives while five others were injured in another mass-shooting incident on Tuesday. The shooting took place during a high school graduation ceremony in Richmond, Virginia when a man armed with four handguns opened fire on the crowd.

According to police, a 19-year-old suspect who



knew one of the victims has been arrested. The suspect was likely to be charged with two counts of second-degree murder in addition to other offenses. 

According to the Gun Violence Archive, the mass shooting was the country’s 279th in the first 157 days of 2023.
