The UAE passport has just risen in the ranks again, with the Passport Index ranking it the 8th most powerful passport in the world.
This comes on the heels of two recent visa-waiver agreements the UAE signed on the sidelines of the 73rd United Nations General Assembly meet being held in New York this week.
After signing with Paraguay and Serbia, the UAE passport is inching closer to becoming amongst the five most powerful passports in the world. It already clinched the title for the most powerful
passport regionally in the Arab world.
In 2017, the UAE announced a daring goal of positioning the country's passport on the list of the five most important passports in the world by 2021.
Over the last decade, the UAE passport has seen immense growth in its global visa-free score and is amongst the list of nations that have experienced the fastest growth in the world. Having gained the trust and respect of over 35 countries in the past decade, UAE's passport power is slowly but surely reaching the summit.
