In Maharashtra, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has directed to strengthen the entire mechanism of CM dashboard, MyGov app, CM helpline, and grievance redressal portal so that all departments can use them easily.
Monitoring of the entire mechanism will be done by the chief minister's secretariat. Our Mumbai Correspondent reports that the Chief Minister also said that the communication mechanism would be strengthened based on how effective is the Maha-Net project. Based on this he asked officials to follow up with the Centre for availing funding for the Bharat Net as early as possible.
The
CM also stressed on giving priority to take urgent steps for e-filing at Mantralaya and district level so that work at Government and administration level receives a fillip.
The CM was informed that the Maha-Net project is being made functional in 12 thousand 537 village Panchayats while all the village Panchayats are being connected through Optical Fibre cable and there are 2496 village Panchayats which have been connected so far via the internet.
The Union Government has provided 1,110 crore rupees while the state government has given Rs. 934 crores rupees for this ambitious project.
