In a fresh round of restrictions, Britain has yesterday sanctioned 12 senior Russian commanders and several Iranian businessmen and officials for their involvement in the production and supply of drones to the Kremlin.
In an official statement, the UK government said that it has announced a new package of 16 sanctions targeting senior Russian military commanders and
Iranian businessmen and officials who are involved in the production or supply of drones to target Ukraine.
Earlier on Friday, the US released information indicating that Iran has supplied hundreds of drones to Russia. It said, these drones have been used to attack Ukraine’s critical infrastructure.
