Foreign Secretary of United Kingdom Dominic Raab is on a four day visit to India from today. During his stay in New Delhi, Mr. Raab will hold talks with Minister of External Affairs, Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar tomorrow on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.
He will also have official meetings with Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar and Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal. As part of the visit, Mr Raab will travel to Bengaluru where he will meet
the Chief Minister of Karnataka on Thursday.
India and the United Kingdom enjoy strategic partnership since 2004 which has been marked by regular high level exchanges and growing cooperation in diverse areas.
Mr Raab’s visit will pave way for further strengthening of the partnership across trade, defence, climate, migration and mobility, education and health sectors in the post-Covid, post-Brexit context.
