The United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) said yesterday that 17 ISIS-Libya terrorists were killed in southwest Libya in an airstrike carried on 26th Sept. in coordination with the UN-backed Libyan Government of National Accord. AFRICOM's Director of Intelligence Heidi Berg said we will continue to pursue ISIS-Libya and other terrorists in the region, denying them a safe
haven to coordinate and plan operations in Libya.
According to the statement, AFRICOM stressed on continued support for diplomatic efforts to stabilize the political situation in Libya in order to maintain a common focus on disrupting terrorist organizations that threaten regional stability.
