US President-elect Donald Trump has nominated businessman Warren Stephens as ambassador to the United Kingdom. In a social media post, Mr. Trump also praised Stephens as a successful businessman in the country.

Warren Stephens leads Stephens Inc. as chairman,



president, and CEO. The privately held financial services company operates from its headquarters in Little Rock, Arkansas. A significant Republican party supporter, he served as a fundraising bundler for Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign in 2012.
