US President-elect Donald Trump has announced the nomination of retired American general Keith Kellogg as special envoy to Russia and Ukraine. In a statement, Mr Trump said, General Keith Kellogg will serve as Assistant to the President and Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia.
Gen Keith has led a distinguished Military and Business career, including serving in highly sensitive National Security roles in Mr Trump’s first Administration.
Mr Trump has also selected Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a Stanford
physician, economist, and noted Covid lockdown critic, to lead the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Mr. Bhattacharya, was born in Kolkata and holds an MD and Ph.D. in economics from Stanford.
Meanwhile, several Trump administration nominees, including picks for UN ambassador and Environmental Protection Agency chief, have reported threats, including bomb scares. The FBI is investigating these incidents in coordination with law enforcement partners.
