US President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Paul Atkins, a former commissioner of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to be the agency’s chairman. In a social media post, Trump said, Paul is a proven leader for common sense regulations.

Paul Atkins is the CEO



and founder of a risk management consultancy, Patomak Global Partners. Earlier under President George W. Bush, he also served as a SEC commissioner from 2002 to 2008. In the US, SEC protects investor’s rights and maintains fair market practices.
