US and South Korea have agreed to indefinitely suspend two training exercises to support diplomatic negotiations with North Korea.
The move comes after the two countries announced the shelving of the large-scale Freedom Guardian exercises scheduled to be held in August.
Pentagon spokeswoman Dana White in Washington
yesterday said, Secretary Jim Mattis, has indefinitely suspended select exercises to support the implementation of the outcomes of Singapore Summit.
She said, two Korean Marine Exchange Program training exercises scheduled to occur in the next three months have been shelved.
