White House Says President Biden Is Set To Impose New Sanctions On Iran’s Missile

The White House has said that President Joe Biden is set to impose new sanctions on Iran’s missile and drone programs. The move came after Iran’s unprecedented air attack against Israel last week.

According to the US National Security Adviser, President Biden is coordinating with allies and partners, including the G7 and with bipartisan leaders in Congress, on a comprehensive response.

In the



coming days, the US will impose new sanctions targeting Iran, as well as against entities supporting the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Iran’s Defense Ministry.

Earlier the United States also designated the Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard corps as a terrorist organization in 2019, having already labelled Iran a state sponsor of terrorism.
