As India celebrates its 78th Independence Day, world leaders have extended their greetings to the people of the country on the occasion. The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, extended warm greetings to India while hailing the ties between the two nations. Mr Blinken said that the US celebrates the ‘rich and diverse history’ of the Indian people.
The US State Secretary also said that
US-India cooperation is expanding at a rapid pace as the two countries continue to work together to advance their shared vision of a free, open, stable, and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
Israel also extended its best wishes to India on the occasion. Israel’s envoy to India Mr Naor Gilon also participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
