Yemeni security forces have arrested a Qatari intelligence officer who was planning to travel from Yemen to Oman.
Al-Arabiya television quoted Yemeni government sources as saying that the officer is suspected of supporting Houthi coup militias.
Army units arrested Mohsen Al-Karbi, a Qatari intelligence officer, as he was trying to exit Yemen at a border crossing in Al-Mahra province on his way to Omani territories, sources said.
The Qatari National Human Rights Committee claimed that the Qatari citizen was on a trip to visit
relatives in Yemeni territory.
On the other hand, dozens of Yemeni children survived a Houthi attack on a rehabilitation center for child soldiers and soldiers affected by the war in Marib, a governorate located 173 kilometers to the northeast of Sana'a.
The center said in a statement that two Katyusha rockets had targeted the rehab and caused severe material damage, which raised a state of fear and panic among the children undergoing psychological and social rehabilitation, adding that this attack is the third of its kind in 30 days.
