In Tunisia, President Beji Caid Essebsi has named Youssef Chahed as new the Prime Minister. Earlier, Prime Minister Habib Essid lost vote of no-confidence because of his handling of economic reforms and security.
Forty-one year old
Chahed, a former Minister for local affairs, announced the appointment himself yesterday, warning Tunisians to brace themselves for exceptional sacrifices. His nomination is likely to be approved by a Parliamentary vote, as required.
