15 Kg Hybrid Ganja Seized at Cochin Airport, Kerala

In Kerala, Customs officials seized nearly 15 kilograms of hybrid marijuana (ganja) from three passengers who arrived at the Cochin International Airport from Thailand. The contraband is worth about 7.47 crore rupees.

The passengers were intercepted at the exit gate of the airport



and a detailed examination of their checked-in luggage resulted in the seizure of the illicit drug.

The accused, belonging to different parts of the state were produced before a court and were remanded to judicial custody.
