6 Devotees Killed & Several Injured In Road Accident Near Varanasi

Six people lost their lives, and five others were seriously injured when a jeep carrying devotees to Prayagraj crashed into a parked truck on GT Road near Mirzamurad on Friday, February 21, as per the report.

Mirzamurad SHO Ajay Raj Verma stated that the



victims were from Karnataka. The impact was so severe that the front of the vehicle was completely crushed, making it difficult for police to rescue those trapped.

The injured were taken to the trauma centre at Banaras Hindu University Hospital for treatment.
