IMD issues orange alert for Pathanamthitta, Idukki; Heavy rainfall predicted

The Met Department has issued an orange alert in Pathanamthitta and Idukki districts in Kerala today, indicating the possibility of very heavy rain. As per the weather bulletin issued this evening, a yellow alert denoting the possibility of heavy rainfall has



been issued in nine districts of the state. 

The weather office also issued an orange alert for the central districts of Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, and Thrissur for tomorrow.
