In Maharashtra, a massive Tiranga Rally was held from Mumbai’s civic headquarters to the Gateway of India to mark the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign as part of the 78th Independence Day celebrations. Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar was present at the event and participated in the oath-taking ceremony. Similar rallies were conducted across all wards of Mumbai. 

Maharashtra’s Education



Minister Deepak Kesarkar and Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha also took part in a Tiranga Rally. 

According to the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, over one lakh students participated in more than 1,044 Tiranga Rallies organized by the education department. The civic body has urged citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes.
