Schools in the Kashmir Valley opened today after remaining closed for nearly two-and-a-half months during the winter vacation.
This winter, the weather was mostly dry as there was less snow and rain as compared to previous



years.
All Kashmir-based private and public schools, which were supposed to open on March 8, were rescheduled to open on March 1.
According to reports, it was after over 70 years that temperature has risen to 21 degrees in February.
