Selfie please!: Police personnel pose with murder accused Sushil Kumar; pics go viral

Some shocking scenes emanated from Delhi today (June 25) as the police personnel posed for a selfie and photographs with murder accused, Sushil Kumar. Sushil was arrested by Delhi Police on May 23. He has been in judicial custody since then. A Delhi court on Friday extended Sushil's judicial custody till July 9.

As Sushil was outside a police station, the personnel decided to pose with the former Olympian. The Twitterati was quick to react and criticised those who posed with Sushil. He is accused in the murder of wrestler Sagar Rana.

As per reports, he allegedly abducted Sagar to teach him a lesson.  Sagar passed away on May 4. Sushil went missing after the incident

Meanwhile, Sushil has been moved from Mandoli to Tihar jail. As per a report in India Today, he has been moved to Tihar jail due to security reasons. He was on the run for 18 days before being arrested.

A two-time Olympic-medallist in wrestling, Sushil had won a bronze medal in 2008. Four years later, he won the silver medal in London Olympics. Sushil didn't make it to the 2016 Rio Olympics and 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

He is also a three-time Commonwealth gold-medallist. The 38-year-old won gold medals in the 2010, 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games.
