Swamy urges govt to file appeal in High Court after 2G verdict

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has said that the government should appeal in the High Court against the 2G scam verdict pronounced today.

A special CBI court today pronounced the judgement on the 2G spectrum allocation case after 6 years of trial. The special court acquitted all the people accused in the



case.

Subramanian Swamy in a tweet said that - "Govt must prove its bonafides by filing an immediate appeal in High Court"

A CBI probe in the 2G spectrum case was ordered after Swamy became a petitioner in a PIL filed by Centre for Public Interest Litigation or CPIL in 2012.
