Ten bogies of Delhi-bound Kaifiyat Express derailed in Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh early this morning. No casualty has been reported, so far. Principal Secretary Home, Arvind Kumar said, 74 people have been injured and they have been admitted to nearby hospitals. The bogies derailed following a collision of the train, coming from Azamgarh, with a dumper between Achhalda and Pata railway stations.

operations have been completed and the passengers have been brought to the Achhalda station for their onward journey. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said in a tweet that he is personally monitoring the situation. 

Public Relations Officer of the North Central Railway told that the traffic on the Delhi-Howrah route has been disrupted.The Railways has opened helpline numbers at different stations.
