10 people lost their lives in cylinder blast in Mau, UP

At least 10 people have lost their lives and 24 injured in a powerful cylinder blast in Mau district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place this morning in Walidpur area, where a cooking gas cylinder exploded while breakfast was being prepared in a house.

The whole house collapsed due to the impact of the blast. The injured have been rushed to different hospitals and six of them are in serious



condition. Police and administrative officials have reached the spot and are busy in rescue operation.

Chief Minister Yogi Aadityanath has expressed his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and directed District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police to provide all possible relief and medical help to the affected people immediately.
