14 children died due to prevailing viral fever among kids across Bihar

Patna: In Bihar 14 children have so far died due to prevailing viral fever among kids across the state.

Sanjay Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of health department said atleast six thousand eight hundred such cases have so far reported this month at different government hospitals in the state.

113 children were admitted to different hospitals and the rest prescribed medicines.

Mr Singh said



most of the children return home after check - up in the OPD and take prescribed medicines at home.

None of the children visiting the OPD of government hospital with complaint of viral fever has far been tested positive for Covid-19.

Meanwhile health minister Mangal Pandey said doctors have been instructed to take precaution during treatment of children suffering from viral fever.
