15 people killed in major mishap in Prakasam

Ongole: At least 15 people were killed and five others injured when a private bus collided head-on with a van and caught fire at Cherlopalem, near Voletivaripalem in Prakasam district in the wee hours of Saturday.

were rushed to the Government Hospital at Kandukur, Superintendent of Police Ch. Srikanth said, adding the bus, which overturned before catching fire, was coming from Hyderabad to Kandukur after dropping most of the passengers at Pamuru.
