The third Monday of the holy Savan month added a new feather in the cap of Mahakal ki Nagri, Ujjain. A total of 1500 Damru players created a world record by giving a captivating rhythmic performance at Shaktipath located on the premises of Mahakaleshwar Temple, Mahalok Lok on Monday, stated an official release.

resonated with the sound of Damru, which is considered the favourite musical instrument of Lord Shiva. 1500 people played Damru here at a time and broke the previous record of Federation of Indian Association New York of 488 people played Damru. Guinness World Records adjudicator Rishi Nath presented the certificate of creating the world record for Damru playing,"
