15.30 lakh Metric Tonnes of food grains distributed across country under PMGKAY

New Delhi: In all,15 lakh 30 thousand Metric Tonnes of food grains have been lifted by 31 States and Union Territories for distribution under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana-IV till Monday. The Centre has extended Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana for five months, that



is from July to November.

Under PMGKAY-III from May to June this year, Food Corporation of India has supplied over 78 lakh Metric Tonnes free food grains to all 36 States and Union Territories.
