In Tripura, a total of 156 houses collapsed and 1,156 buildings damaged in Tuesday's earthquake. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, Revenue Minister Badal Chowdhury visited affected areas in Northern sector of the state. 
Mr Chowdhury said, one woman died and seven persons injured in the quake. He said, the state government will provide 10,000 rupees as



ex-gratia to the family of Kamalini Kando, who died in the quake.Mr Chowdhury said, as per norms of the natural calamity fund, a compensation of four lakh rupees will be given to the family of Kando. The minister also announced financial assistance of 95,000 rupees to each of 156 family whose houses collapsed. The quake has affected six districts of the state.
