15th Finance Commission to visit Karnataka on June 23

The 15th Finance Commission, headed by Chairman NK Singh, will visit Karnataka on Sunday. 

During its four-day visit, the Commission will interact with the Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy and his Cabinet colleagues and also senior State Government officers. The team will also meet the representatives of political



parties. 

An official release said, there will be separate meetings with the representatives of Rural Local Bodies and Urban Local Bodies of Karnataka. 

The Commission will also hold a meeting with the representatives of trade and industry of the state.
