16 killed in road accident in Mainpuri,UP

In Uttar Pradesh, 16 persons including a woman were killed in a road accident in Mainpuri district this morning. 16 others were injured. 

While 13 injured have been admitted to district hospital Mainpuri, three have been referred to All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah in serious condition.

District Magistrate PK Tiwari told that the accident took place after a Farrukhabad-bound bus overturned after hitting the road divider near Mainpuri town. 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the accident and directed officials to provide proper medical facilities to injured.
