Till date, 164 nomination papers of 153 candidates have been filed for 288 constituencies of the Maharashtra legislative assembly elections. Yesterday was the second day for filling out nomination papers for 288 constituencies of the Maharashtra legislative assembly general elections. Till date, 164 nomination papers from 153 candidates have been filed. This information was given by the office of the Chief Election Commissioner yesterday.

The Model Code of Conduct for Maharashtra



Vidhan Sabha General Election came into force on October 15, 2024; afterwards, the Election Notification was released on October 22, 2024. The candidates can file their nominations up to 29th October. The applications will be scrutinised on 30th October 2024. The candidates can withdraw their application on November 4, 2024. 

Voting will be held on November 20, and counting of votes will be held on November 23, 2024.
