176 MSMEs benefited from PLI Scheme, says MoS Jitin Prasada

The government has said that 176 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs have benefited from the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme. Replying to supplementaries in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada said that PLI Schemes have witnessed over one lakh 32 thousand crore rupees worth of investment so



far. 

He said, this scheme has generated over eight lakh 50 thousand employment opportunities and it has led to production and sales of over 11 lakh crore rupees. Mr Prasada said, this PLI scheme has helped in the growth of the manufacturing sector leading to self-reliance.
