In a major rescue operation, the Delhi Police in coordination with an NGO rescued a total of 18 children aged between 11and 17 years who were employed in a jute bag manufacturing factory in Gamri village of the national capital's Bhajanpura, officials said



Tuesday.

The rescue operation was conducted on August 5 and action has been initiated against nine persons identified as Aslat, Rajkumar, Vicky, Pintu, Sarvesh, Aehsan, Satender, Ansari and Sahil Dabas who had allegedly employed the children.
