2 terrorists killed in encounter with security forces near Srinagar Airport

In Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces near Srinagar airport today. An ASI of BSF was martyred and three BSF jawans injured in the attack. The encounter broke out at 4 this morning when a group of terrorists attacked a BSF camp in Humhama. One terrorist was still holed up inside the camp and the operation to neutralise



him was continuing when reports last came in. 

Airport resumed flight operations this morning after a brief suspension. The terrorists had entered the camp of BSF's 182nd battalion which is responsible for the security of runway of the Srinagar airport. Schools in the vicinity of the airport have been closed.
