20 injured as speeding bus falls off Delhi-Meerut Expressway

An uncontrolled bus of Uttar Pradesh Roadways broke the railing on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and fell down the slope. More than a dozen passengers on the bus were injured. According to reports, the accident occurred while the bus was going from Meerut to Delhi.

Chaos erupted at the time of the incident at the spot. More than 20 people have been injured in this accident. 

After this accident, the police said that a roadways bus, which was going from Meerut to Delhi, went out of control and fell down the slope on



the Delhi Meerut Expressway under the Mussoorie police station area. About 20 passengers were injured on the spot and were sent to District Hospital -- Sanjay Nagar Ghaziabad and Sarvodaya Hospital through ambulance.

A video of this accident has also surfaced, where in, it can seen that the bus on the highway fell into the pit. However, the reason behind this accident has not been revealed yet. The police are investigating the entire matter. Only after investigation will it be clear whether this accident happened due to technical reasons or not.
